In general, the mouse is used to navigate QuickTime VR movies. However, the movie controller offers more options. The QuickTime VR movie controller is shown below.
• It controls some aspects of a QuickTime VR movie.

• The first icon (far left) goes back to the last-visited scene in a multiple-scene QuickTime VR movie.
• The next icon ‘zooms out’ of the movie, so that more of the movie is visible.
• The next icon ‘zooms into’ the movie, so that details can be seen more clearly.
• The next icon shows all visible ‘hot spots’. These are locations in a QuickTime VR movie which, when clicked, perform some action.
• The next icon allows you to drag objects if they are ‘zoomed in’ and therefore do not show the entire movie.
• The long empty bar in the centre is the help box and shows brief descriptions of the controller buttons when the mouse moves over them.
• The last icon (far right) is the size box
· the size box resizes the movie window.
